There are certain sports that are directly linked to different cultural consumption, others with social classes, with certain customs or other regions.
In the case of rugby, for the look of the lower and middle classes of Buenos Aires, has always been a sport for the affluent. In my teens, my friends were playing rugby as a means of social acceptance (it was not me, too cowardly to be hit free!)
